This dog toy is certainly different than ones I have had in the past.
I was looking forward to the flinging aspect of it. I have a highly active german shepherd who will play ball with you for hours and hours and hours if you let her. I knew she would love this toy. When I got it, I was excited to try it out. Unfortunately, the launcher barely does anything and the ball doesn't go any further than it would if I just threw it. Actually, I can throw it farther than the launcher can get it.
However, I still really like this toy even though I'm not using it right. Because it has the string attached to the ball, I just throw the ball using the string and it goes really far AND I don't have to touch my dogs slobber that inevitably gets all over any type of ball. She loves it. Our beagle got a hold of it too and it was so funny because he kept tripping himself with the string x). Overall, I definitely like this toy, just not for its intended purpose. (I received this for a discounted price in exchange for my honest review)
